Due to irreparable mechanical problems with facility plumbing, the Fox Point Municipal Pool will not open in 2023, and possibly beyond. DPW staff has been working diligently since before January to get the pool to an operational state, but it is unfortunately no longer possible. Very recently it became apparent that due to the age of the facility, Staff and contracted services were no longer able to find replacement parts that are crucial to managing the mechanics of the facility as the required parts are no longer fabricated.
Individuals who have purchased memberships and swim lessons at to the pool will be refunded their money, and those who had the pool reserved for an event will be notified and refunded as well. Thank you for your understanding in this matter. This news not a message that Village Staff want to deliver, but the pool in its current state is not operational.
