Memorial Day
Village Hall: Village offices will be closed Monday, May 29 and will reopen Tuesday, May 30.
Garbage and Recycling: Normal garbage and recycling pick-up schedule will be pushed back one day to accommodate the holiday. View the garbage and recycling page for more information.
MMSD Household Hazardous Waste Drop-Off: MMSD will be having a one-day Household Hazardous Waste collection date Saturday, June 24 from 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM on the campus of Cardinal Stritch University. MMSD requests you enter at the main entrance off of Port Washington.
*Note: If you are unable to bring your Hazardous Waste to this event, visit MMSD's collection page to find year round drop-off locations.
Drop off Procedures:
- Stay in your vehicle at all times
- Put items in the trunk as close to the back as possible-they will not accept items from a back seat.
- Boxes used to transport items will not be returned
- Gas cans used to transport old gas or gas/oil mixtures will be returned but will be sprayed with a disinfectant before returning to you.
