Come work for the Fox Point Pool this summer!
The Village of Fox Point plans to open the Municipal Pool for the 2023 summer season and are actively seeking lifeguards, swim lesson instructors and front box staff. The Village is again offering reimbursement for Lifeguard and Water Safety Instructor certifications classes as long as employees work for the Village for entirety of the season.
Applications will remain open until May 1, 2023 with first consideration occurring on March 31, 2023. Complete applications should include a Village application and any associated certifications.
Applications, questions, and communications should come from prospective applicants directly. Applications must be submitted by applicants themselves.
Lifeguards
- Must be at least 15 years old and in possession of a Red Cross Lifeguard and CPR/AED certification
- Must be available to work a minimum of 25-30 hours per week
- Starting pay $12.00/hr with step increases for returning staff
Swim Lesson Instructors
- Must be at least 15 years old and in possession of a Red Cross lifeguard or Water Safety Instructor certification. Demonstrated combination of skills/experience may be considered on a case-by-case basis
- Starting pay $10.00/hr DOQ
Front Box Staff
- Must be at least 14 years old
- Must demonstrate exceptional customer service and communication skills
- Must be available to work a minimum of 25-30 hours per week
- Starting pay $8.50/hr with step increases for returning staff
