[ARCHIVED] FREE! Summer Fitness & Recreation Programming

WAC Outdoor Fitness Schedule Flyer

The Village of Fox Point has partnered with the Wisconsin Athletic Club to provide FREE recreation and fitness programming this summer. Classes are open to Fox Point residents and Pool Members. 

*PLEASE NOTE*

  • Class sizes are limited. 
  • Participants must sign up at the Fox Point Municipal Pool. 
  • Dates and classes will be updated as soon as information becomes available. 
  • Please contact the Assistant Village Manager with any questions.


SCHEDULED SUMMER PROGRAMMING
*These classes will begin June 17, 2022 and run through the end of August.*

Fridays

  • Water 8-8:55am
  • Poolside Yoga 9-9:55am

Saturdays

  • Poolside Yoga 8-8:55am
  • Water 9-9:55am

Beer Garden Boot Camp Classes

  • Friday July 15 at 6pm
  • Saturday July 30 at 6pm
  • Friday August 12 at 6pm
  • Friday August 19 at 6pm
  • Friday August 26 at 6pm
  • Saturday September 17 at 6pm

Longacre Park Classes

  • Yoga - Saturday July 16 at 10am
  • Cardio Circuit - Saturday August 13 at 10am
  • Yoga - Saturday August 20 at 10am
  • Cardio Circuit - Saturday August 27 at 10am


  • Poolside yoga and aquatics classes will be held at the Fox Point Municipal Pool. 
    • Participants for yoga should bring their own mats. Mats will not be provided.

CLASS DESCRIPTIONS
Aqua Zumba - Zumba hits the deck! This low impact choreographed class fuses Latin & International music and moves to create a dynamic and exciting water class.

Water Aerobics - This basic water class provides a cardiovascular workout, complete with toning and stretching. Similar to our Lite series, this class is perfect for the mature adult, those individuals new to fitness and anyone recovering from an injury.

Poolside Yoga - This ancient practice creates a strong and flexible body through a series of poses that enhance focus and calm the mind. This is a perfect complement to your existing fitness program or a great workout all on its own.

Poolside Zumba - Zumba is an exhilarating, effective, easy-to-follow, calorie-burning dance fitness-party. This class is based on a fusion of Latin and International music dance themes.

Boot Camp - This class is an introduction to an intense workout that will include strength, conditioning, speed work, balance, and plyometric drills. Watch your stamina and fitness level soar to new heights.

Cardio Circuit - Get plugged into this circuit format class. There's no tricky choreography-just challenging and fun stations featuring cardio, muscle conditioning and balance training exercises.
