Garbage and Recycling Collection Holiday Schedule:
- Thanksgiving week – normal collections will be done Monday through Wednesday. There will be no collections on Thursday (Thanksgiving) or Friday.
- Week after Thanksgiving – Collections from the prior Thursday (Thanksgiving) will be done on Monday and then that week’s collections will shift one day to be done Tuesday through Friday. So, if you are normally collected on a Wednesday, your garbage and recycling will be collected on Thursday December 2.
- Week before Christmas – no changes in the collections of garbage and recycling.
- Week after Christmas – Monday, December 27 is a holiday for Village employees so collections will shift one day so that the routes will be collected Tuesday through Friday.
- Week after New Year’s- Monday, January 3 is a holiday for Village employees so collections will shift one day so that the routes will be collected Tuesday through Friday.
