1. MMSD Pipe Check Program.  New for 2021, the Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewerage District (MMSD) has begun a pipe check program for residential properties which encourages property owners to remove sources of clear water from the sanitary sewer system.  Residents that have a foundation drain or downspouts connected to a sanitary sewer or a poor sanitary sewer lateral, among other things, can hire a contractor to remove these sources of clear water and be reimbursed a portion of the cost.  The attached flyer describes the program in more detail and those interested in the program should visit MMSD’s website (link on the flyer) or contact Ms. Rebecca Specht at 414-225-2162.
