[ARCHIVED] The Village's Bond Rating Upgraded to Aaa!!!

AAA

The Village of Fox Point was notified that Moody's Investors Service, in advance of the Village’s July 2019 bond sale, upgraded the Village’s bond rating to Aaa, its highest rating, making it the only village in Wisconsin so rated by Moody's.

Moody’s primarily cited the Village’s strong financial profile given healthy reserves and strong budgetary management.  Also cited were continued growth in reserves, general budgetary liquidity as well as a moderate debt burden with positive rapid principal amortization. These factors, along with a wealthy tax base and low pension liabilities, led to the upgrade.

President Douglas Frazer commented “Fox Point stands proud as the only Village in Wisconsin to have gained a Aaa rating from Moody’s Investors Service.  Congratulations to Village Manager Scott Botcher, his staff, and the Village Board for this impressive achievement in fiscal stewardship.”
