On March 28, a Public Information Meeting was held to share information about the upcoming construction project along Calumet Road and Bergen Drive (smaller project).
The Power Point presentation that was shared with the attendees is included and contains information associated with the construction schedule, work to be done, contact information and other miscellaneous construction related activities. Also, a letter was sent to each of the residents and is available for review as well. In it, property owners were requested to inform Village staff of any buried pipes (sump pump downspout lines), invisible dog fences or sprinkler systems that may be affected by construction. Those property owners who have any of these in the Village Right of Way are required to submit the form to us; absent notification, the Village nor our Contractor cannot make any assurances that your pipes, sprinkler systems or invisible dog fences will be repaired.
Additionally, the presentation identifies about 9 properties that do or may have lead water service laterals. Property owners may elect to have their lead water service lateral replaced at their cost.
